Discover The Taste Temptation Of The California Bay Leaf

Every year at this time, your town has an annual food festival, where you could probably experience the delicious California bay leaf. This is an exciting time for everyone and no one can wait to test all the different foods that the people from the city prepare especially for this celebration. One will be able to savor tastes from all over the world. One just needs to ensure that you have a lot of space for all the scrumptious foods.

The ladies from the spice shop always make their lamb curry for this special day. Using a myriad of herbs and spices makes their curry something everyone simply has to test. One will experience the spice and very chili type food with a slight hint of bay leaf.

The traditional chicken pie created especially for this day by mayor's wife is a hit every year and one cannot give this one a miss. The juicy mushrooms make it so much tastier and the soft potatoes simply make for a scrumptious tasting. The pastry for this pie is delicious and flaky.

Every year some of the gentlemen from the barber shop get together and make the best delicious lamb shanks. They slow cook these, and the meat is soft and tender after slowly cooking under a medium heat. When the meat is cut from the bone it is tender and tasty, leaving you wanting more.

No food festival is complete without the pastor's wife's delicious turkey. She takes pride in her recipe and with good reason. Everyone crowds around her to get some of the tender breasts. The juicy meat falls apart when she cuts it and is so very tasty.

The local South Africans have come out with a different dish this year and it is nothing short of a barbecue. Although this is the same principal, their meat tastes different. It tastes more smoked and the sausage is succulent and spicy. You simply have to taste it to appreciate that they too know how to cook their meat over some fire.

One has to save some place for some of the Italians' special food festival pizza that they make especially for this day every year. They use fresh herbs with extra cheese and mushrooms with salami and some of that imported sausage. One has to make provision to take an extra piece when getting to their table.

When it comes to desserts of the day there are a number to choose from. The traditional trifle that the ladies from the church make is simply delicious and the homemade ice cream tastes like more every time you have a little bit. Of course, the other delicious tiramisu cakes and peppermint tarts, as well as the pineapple pudding are dishes that cannot go without a tasting. The desert tables are the most difficult ones to walk past as everything on them looks so delicious. One can actually feel the pounds piling on to the hips as you walk past these tables, many of whose exhibits utilize the California bay leaf.
