Achievement of your happiness

Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values.
Ayn Rand
Ethical Egoism can mean different things to different people based on personal interpretation of complex philosophical constructs.
1) Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life
That we should all strive for inner peace as that is true happiness.
2) happiness-not pain or mindless self-indulgence-is the proof of your moral integrity
That peace is not achieved through inflicting, experimenting, perpetuating, supporting the furtherance of suffering or living in suffering; and that posit proves your moral and ethical soundness.
3)since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty at the achievement of your values.
That supporting the conviction as stated above on a basis of purity is not meant either to harm oneself or another. It is not meant to heedlessly profit at the price of extending suffering. Utilizing strengths to overcome long term damages caused by extended suffering is the end result of standing by the long term conviction as stated in clause #2 -"happiness-not pain or mindless self-indulgence-is the proof of your moral integrity"
End greed, disburse excess, live within a higher moral and ethical construct and learn not to derive pleasure or profit from sadistic or masochistic acts against man on nature. It does not mean giving up all your worldly possessions or pleasures of life but creating room, opportunity, and a spirit of not hoarding, so that others too have some also. To me, moral integrity is the antithesis of mental illness. It speaks of a high degree of self-control and considering the repercussions to yourself and others for your actions. It also makes this construct your personal responsibility.
What does it mean to you?
